GRP Adjustable Lowering Kit for Lotus Emira

Looking for a way to lower your Emira for some better looks and performance? Look no further! 

Our lowering kit is a fully adjustable setup that can lower the car up to about 20-25mm in the front and an about the same amount in the rear and even raise the car if you wish.    Utilizing cnc machined aluminum threaded "over sleeves" we eliminate the fixed oem lower spring perch and replace it with this adjustable kit. This kit keeps your factory springs and ride quality but allows for that look you are going for. 

Fits all 2022+ Lotus Emira models with original yellow Bilstein suspension, sport or touring. 

Kit includes:

• 4xThreaded over sleeves -- Now anodized in black vs the red shown in pictures. 
• 4x Lower threaded spring perch
• 4x Threaded locking nut
• Set screws for over sleeves

Some installation notes - 

• Disconnect sway bar front and rear to gain control arm articulation
• Front and rear coilovers need to be removed from the car. 
• The rears are very simple to remove with only three small bolts holding the top and one large eyelet bolt on the bottom. 
• The fronts are a little more difficult to remove the car.  Remove the top spring perch bracket (4 bolts _ eyelet bolt), then find the right angle to slip the shock assembly out of the car. Some have separated the upper ball joint to make things easier but we dont typically find this necessary.    
• Once out of the car the blue dust sleeve needs to be popped down out of the way and the very top of the shock shaft needs to be clamped/held so that the eyelet can be threaded off the shaft. This step is where our vide tool comes in handy.   
• Once the eylet if threaded off the shaft you can remove the blue dust boot,top washer, bumpstop and then the lower spring perch.
• Trim the bump stop and blue boot by about 3/4"
• The new sleeve kit is then installed onto the yellow shock body and seated down onto the original circlip (the circlip doesnt need to be removed at all) 
• Tighten the two silver grub screws firmly so that the sleeve cant spin on the shock body.    
• Reassemble and make sure to use a thread locker on the top eyelet when reinstalling.   

With the adjusters maxed out front and rear you will get around 20-25mm of lowering and keep in mind the car will settle some after driving.
