Our plug and play bypass kit allows you to install an aftermarket/race seat such as our awesome Tillett B10's without causing any warning lights or messages on the dash.
When you install a seat on the drivers side you will be left with an error code for the seat airbag as well as the seat belt buckle. These connectors bypass those and keep the cars srs system happy. The airbag system will still operate as normal everywhere else in the car in the event of an accident except you wont have an airbag deployment possible with your aftermarket seat.
When you install a seat on the passenger side you will be left with an error code for the seat airbag, the seat belt buckle as well as the passenger seat occupancy sensor. This kit bypasses the deleted airbag but still keeps the passenger side occupancy sensor operational as well as the dash airbag.
When installing be sure to disconnect your batteries negative (without the car on or key in the car) terminal and wait a few minutes. Remove seat, plug in bypass kit, install new seat and then reconnect the battery. Otherwise the warning light may turn on and has to be reset with a special scan tool or by a dealer.
The drivers side and passengers side kits are different so order accordingly.
