An age old issue with forced induction cars and modern emissions requirements is having vent lines from the valve covers (pcv) routed to the intake of the engine which sends vapor, moisture and oil residue into the supercharger, intake tract and combustion chamber of the the engine. This causes a decrease in performance, leftover residue inside the supercharger, valves and intake etc. This is especially prevalent when the car is driven hard on the track or canyons and the engine is seeing sustained rpms and cornering. The most common and easiest solution to help keep that out of your engine is a catch can which routes those vent lines to it instead of the intake directly. This frees up some power, keeps your engine cleaner and has no side effects on how your car runs.
We have comprised a kit for all 2017+ Evora's, Exige V6's, and V6 Emiras that is a mostly plug and play kit aside from mounting the catch can bracket to the battery box area which requires three small holes to be drilled.
This kit utilizes a top quality catch can and fittings from our friends at Radium Engineering along with the needed hose, clamps and hardware for installation.
Some installation pictures included here for reference. but a full write up guide is at the link below.
We include a section of 5/16" hose with clamps to use in case you do not want to cut the factory one. The connected portion is tucked under the supercharger though so its tough to access. Cutting the factory hose to length is the easiest route of install. Also a radium petcock drain kit is includes for easy draining of the catch can, we recommend doing this every oil change.
