Fitment for Evora • S • 400 • GT cars
Evora brake pads are held in the brake caliper with two steel retaining pins. These pins are secured by a softer friction ring at the head which is slightly thicker than the pin hole but is still malleable. While these are often reused, Lotus supplies new retaining pins in their brake pad kits with the intent that these are replaced with every pad service.
We recommend having a spare set in your garage or pit box so if you’ll never be left stranded if you find yourself without a usable pin during a pad swap.
Each set includes two pins, enough for one caliper.
- 2010 - 14 Evora and Evora S cars have different front and rear retaining pins. For a complete replacement, (2) sets of fronts and (2) sets of rears are required.
- 2016-20 Evora 4xx and GT-series cars use the same pin for front & rear calipers. For a complete replacement, (4) sets are required.
These pins are genuine OE Lotus items from an authorized U.K. Lotus distributor and are shipped directly from us.
