- A milltek valve controller is mandatory with these mufflers (or any aftermarket muffler on an Emira) Also they will allow you to get the most sound, and control of that sound as well as eliminate any possibility of a valve motor code with the Ecu, these cars can be picky and vary from car to car on the initial calibration of the valve motor which can sometimes cause a code when swapping mufflers out.
