Typically, Lotus recommends brake fluid changes every 2 years. Because brake fluid can absorb atmospheric moisture, time is often more critical than miles. Of course, spiritedly driven cars and especially track-driven cars should have their fluids changed more often. Using these testers as reference along with recommended & best practices should keep your fluid in the optimum safety range.
